So I didn’t find a specific Scripture that confirms that we choose our parents… however:

I believe that God places those whom He chooses to be a part of the same family or spiritual circle, because of our call, purpose and destiny. If you and your sister were not in my life, we would not be One in Him.

We grew and grow together in our faith, received Jesus as our Savior, we’re water baptized, baptized in the Holy Spirit, and we continue in our own relationships with our Lord and God.

I am thankful for you and Sis, because I do believe God meant for us to be together, not just here, but eternally.  (I am reminded of that dream God gave to Sis)

The Scriptures below not only remind me of my responsibility to you and Sis, (and my spiritual children), but that God PLACED US TOGETHER for His reason, for His glory, for His sake, as well as for our own sakes…

Proverbs 1:8-9 ESV Hear, my son, your father’s instruction, and forsake not your mother’s teaching, (9) for they are a graceful garland for your head and pendants for your neck.

Deuteronomy 4:9-10 ESV “Only take care, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. Make them known to your children and your children’s children– (10) how on the day that you stood before the LORD your God at Horeb, the LORD said to me, ‘Gather the people to me, that I may let them hear my words, so that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children so.

Psalms 112:1-2 ESV Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commandments! (2) His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.

Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.

My Lord said to me several years ago: You have trained up your children in the way they should go… now, surrender them to Me… Amen and amen!

To my children, I give you what I have. If there is something that I have, that you would like to be blessed with, just ask me. To my Grandchildren, if there is something that i have, that your parents do not want, you can have it, if you ask me.

I would rather bless you NOW, then when I am gone… besides, I would want you to enjoy the things and blessings I have, so that we can enjoy them… together.

But most importantly, I give you my Legacy: my faith in my Lord and God, and the relationship that I have with Abba Father, Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) and Uhane Hemolele (Holy Spirit).

All my love, Mom/Grams ♥ ♥ ♥
