Depression is not selfish. It is dark, consuming and destructive. it is like a snake slithering in and out of our brain, like voices in the dark, sabotaging our life with emotions that wave in and out, cresting and breaking in our soul. IT IS NOT SELFISH but DESTRUCTIVE.

What people in this situation need is love, support, prayer and encouragement. So unless you have experienced depression, anxiety or thoughts of suicide, your negative comments are like dust in the wind. @thedeepening at Instagram

Transparency takes courage; because you have to choose by faith in God to look deep inside your heart and mind, and face those dark memories, those dark emotions and allow the light of Christ, to bring you through it. Though I walk through the valley of death (darkness) I will fear no evil (for God did not give us the spirit of fear) for you Lord God are with me, every step of the way of this transformation and the processing of my freedom through Christ Jesus.

A few years ago, my granddaughters and I went to Subway’s Eat Fresh.  There was a man there, digging in the trash can, looking for food.  As we were walking in the door, I turned around and asked the man if he would like a sandwich.  He said that he would love one.  So I went in and got him a foot long tuna with all the veggies.  After I gave it to the man, we went on our way to eat our own lunches.  My oldest granddaughter said to me:  Why did you buy that man a sandwich?  You shouldn’t have.  I told her that Jesus said we should help where we can, even feeding someone.  She was so mad.  But as I explained to her, eventually she began to understand.  Mind you, she was around 7 years old at the time.  LISTEN:  All it takes is helping one life, to encourage you to help others.  JESUS said that when we help those in need we are doing it unto Him.  How else are we going to be an example to our children and grandchildren of what it is to love, to share, to give, to be an example and extension of His love?

Everyone has an opinion:
personal view: the view somebody takes about an issue, especially when it is based solely on personal judgment
estimation: a view regarding the worth of somebody or something
expert view: an expert assessment of something

But not everyone BELIEVES:
accept something as true: to accept that something is true or real
accept somebody as truthful: to accept that somebody is telling the truth
credit somebody with something: to accept that somebody or something has a particular quality or ability

I would rather you BELIEVE IN ME, instead of having an OPINION OF ME! So instead of judging me (based on your opinion), how about you accept me because you believe in me and who I am. To do that, you’ve got to get to know the ‘real’ me. Not the me of the past, but the me of today, of the NOW, of the Present!

This year is about moving forward, making changes, pressing toward the mark of the high call of God through Christ Jesus on my life, running the race, fighting the good fight, making a difference, inspiring, encouraging, and building up.  It’s about mentoring, discipleship, teaching, helping, assisting, doing, not just talking, sharing, not just waiting to receive.  To set hearts on fire with the love and passion of God.  To ignite, set fire to, fan the flame to visions and dreams that burned out, or are simmering, waiting for that breath of God to stir it all up again to bring it to its fullness and completeness <3  So tell me, what kind of IMPACT do you want to make for Jesus through your life in this world?  I want to impact the world for Him, by Him, because of Him.  Let’s go pass the fire of God, and set the world ablaze for Him with His love, His passion, all that is Him and is of Him. <3  So who’s up for an adventure for Yeshua, for Jesus? <3

In the darkness, I wonder, is there hope, is there joy, is the light?  For there are times when I cannot see my way out, of this abyss; yet my heart cries out, “Save me, please.  I don’t want to live in the darkness that seems to envelop me and keep me from rising up and moving out and forward in my life.  I can’t do it on my own.  Is there anyone out there?

And then in the stillness of my heart, I hear a voice, gentle, tender, merciful, loving… calling me, to come into the light.  And so I look up from the darkness and I see, a glimmer of light, a glimmer of hope… and as I continue to look at it, it begins to get brighter, larger; reaching toward me.  I reach out, hoping that the light will wrap itself around me and take me out of this darkness, this dreary disposition. And then I sense a warmth I have never known before, wrapping itself around me like a Father gathering a child into His arms, holding me, keeping me safe… and He takes me out of this darkness into a marvelous light… A light that is hope, faith and love all in One… because I realize the One who is holding me… is the True Light.  The One and Only Light that can and has saved me from the darkness.

Persistent/Persistence: Continuing firmly, pressing forward or toward a goal; to complete or fulfill a vision (purpose), or course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.

Phil 3:14- I press (persist/forging ahead) toward the mark (goal, fulfilling, completion) for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

When we persist we learn to be consistent. We are purposed on fulfilling God’s call and destiny on our lives for the glory and the advancement of His Kingdom. We become tenacious in our faith and trust in our God, His Word and His will.

When the storms are raging, the winds are blowing and the rain is pouring; we need to know, believe and trust that Jesus, Lord and Savior, is our Shield. He protects us, veils us, covers us, and strengthens us to keep pressing, to keep walking, to keep running, to keep fighting the good fight.

We are kept safe and secure in Him. That in spite of what we are challenged with, we know that He is with us and for us. For no weapon formed against us in any form or fashion shall prosper. For greater is He that is in us, then he who is in the world. And if He be for us, then who can be against us.

Because He is our God and King; our Savior and Redeemer; our Commander and Chief; our Everything, our All and all. Let us keep pressing, persevering, being consistent in God’s purpose in our lives for the Kingdom is at hand…

Jesus IS coming. Amen and Amen

I am washed in the blood of Jesus.  The blood of Jesus that sanctifies, purges, purifies; it brings redemption, restoration, restitution, reconciliation.  The blood of Jesus that covers us that we may enter boldly into the Holy of Holies to have communion with our Lord and God.  There is power in the blood, there is healing in the blood, there is deliverance in the blood, there is so much yet to understand about the blood of Jesus.  Our life and breath is in the blood of Jesus.  When we come before the altar of repentance, surrendering anything that is not right or righteous with God, He comes and pours upon us His precious, cleansing, blood… because He loves us and does not want to see us stuck in the muck and mire of sin.  SIN!!!  We sin by our thoughts, by our words, by our actions, by our behaviors, by our senses.  Come on, I know you know what I mean.

Are you washed in the blood of Jesus?  It is a daily washing, just like when we take a bath or shower.  Though we are not of this world, we live in the world.  So the pollution of the world comes to us via television, radio, what we read, music, relationships, socially, nationally, religiously, culturally… the list goes on.

It is our responsibility to check ourselves that our hearts are pure, that our lives truly reflect, present and represent Jesus Christ, our Lord, King and Savior.  How is our heart?  Has it been checked?  Has it been washed?  Has it been purged and purified?  Like the song says:

Are you washed, in the blood?  Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?  Are your garments sparkling, are they white as snow, are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

When people see you, are they seeing the realness of Jesus in your life, or the mask of pretending you are living for Christ?  Today God told His people, to repent.  Because too many think they are living for Christ, but they are not.  God wants real, not make pretend.  Listen:  Jesus is coming for a Bride of Pureness.  Don’t let the enemy deceive you into thinking that it’s all good, and you’re still holding on to grudges; you’re still holding onto unforgiveness; you’re still holding onto anything not right with God.

Too many come for the weekly miracles, the weekly provisions, the weekly giftings and anointing… but they are not coming for HIM!!!  It has got to be about HIM!!!  If you are not coming to Church or ministry services for HIM, then you are missing it.

We got to wake up Brothers and Sisters… if we are coming so that we can fill the house with people, we are missing it.  It’s not about filling the house with people for Christ, it is about the people being filled with the truth and revelation of the Word of God, so that they CAN LIVE RIGHT WITH CHRIST JESUS!!!

Where is the TRUE WORSHIP, where is the TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS (which is of God), where is the TRUE REPENTANCE?  Lord, wash me… wash me in the powerful, redeeming, precious blood of Jesus.  Wash me that I may be whiter than snow.  Wash me that I may be cleansed, purified and purged.  Wash me and reconcile me Lord, unto the righteousness of You.  Forgive me of all my sins and iniquities.  Forgive me for any hidden, unrepented sin.  If I have let any spirit come in legally by the words I spoke, forgive me Lord, and wash me in Your freeing blood.  Take the hot coals from Your holy altar of fire and purge my lips.  Purge my mind.  Purge my senses.  Purge my heart.  Purge my life.  Every area of my life, relationships and ministry.  Let it be washed and then sanctified for Your glory.  I surrender and give it all to you Lord, for You are my Lord and my God.  My Savior and my King.  My Commander and Chief, my Sword, my Rod and my Staff.  Here I am Lord, be it unto me, according to Your word, in the name of Yeshua Messiah, Jesus Christ.  Amen and Amen!!!
