Romans 12:2 reminds us: do not conform to the world, but be transformed in your mind. How? By the renewing of it, with the truth and the word of God, and the understanding of it. When we have a revelation, what is the next thing we need to do?
We need to ask Holy Spirit to teach us how to apply the word to our life, to a situation, to a challenge, to an opportunity, to a relationship. Remember, it is not enough to know the word, you need to know what to do with the word. Because the word is like a sword. The sword of the Spirit and we wield that sword with faith, trusting that what God says… is.
Don’t be afraid to speak it, declare it, sing it, pray it, prophesy it. What remains forever? God says in His word that everything passes away, but MY Word, lasts forever.
James 4:7 “Therefore; SUBMIT to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you”
Surrender all, every area of your life to God
Unite your will with the will of God.
Become one heart with God’s heart
Allows us to:
Move to the leading of God’s Holy Spirit
As we move in unity, the Holy Spirit
Illuminates our candle with the Eternal Light of Jesus
Producing and manifesting:
Truth, in love, flowing in and through our hearts and lives.
As we partner with Jesus, our Great Intercessor, surrendering our hearts to Him, uniting our wills with God, we become One, united in the power of agreement. Now we can move with the leading of the Holy Spirit, because we are moving by spirit and not flesh. When we are in agreement, the light of Jesus Christ can shine, through us, touching lives and situations with the Truth of the Word of God, as we continue to be sensitive to the heart and will of God through prayer and intercession.
SURRENDER: yield, give, grant, offer, bow
UNITE: band, marry, to join, adhere to
BECOME: mature, develop, change, transform
MOVE: advance, influence, submit
ILLUMINATE: to light, quicken, stir, arouse
TRUTH: honesty, genuine, integrity, purity
When we surrender ourselves to God, submitting to Him willing, consciously, wholeheartedly, we are giving Him the authority over our lives as our Sovereign Ruler. We are saying, “I can’t do this on my own Lord, I need You.”
SUBMIT: surrender your mind, your heart, your will and every area of your life, to the power and passion of His love for you; that in your humble submission; your absolute surrender to Him; He is able to use each one of you according to His will, to fulfill His call on your life, which He planned before the foundation of time.
(The Lord expounded on this teaching while I was in Cleansing Stream Ministries. This is how He defined SUBMIT)
The Reminding Word for today is: HUMBLE OUT… HUMILITY. We can be so “on fire” for God, called, anointed, appointed, set apart, consecrated, gifted, positioned, be in the service of the Lord, be in the 5-fold ministry, we can be right where God needs us to be…. but if we are not moving in the HUMILITY and LOVE of YESHUA MESSIAH… we’re gonna fall, we’re gonna crash, we’re gonna burn… ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT KEYS GOD HAS SHOWN ME AND GIVEN ME…(thank you my Jesus), is the mantle of the humility of Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit continues to work me, because I am a work of God’s love in progress and I present and represent Him because i love Him and He loves me…♥ ♥ ♥ Be encouraged my brothers and sisters in Christ… for He has you in the palm of His hand, as He continues to process His love in you and through you, so that He can use you in the “fullness of Jesus” according to His glory. Amen and Amen.
Lord, what do I say to Your daughters, my sisters in Christ Jesus? How do I encourage them without being too transparent, but real. How do I encourage them in their faith, when at times I feel like my faith is failing or is at a standstill? How do i encourage them when all seems lost and unforgiven? How do I encourage them when I am not sure what is the right word to encourage them with?
My daughter, you have much to encourage them with. You get where they are at, because you have been there. You know their thoughts, because you have had those same thoughts. You understand the pain in their hearts, because you have had those same pains and hurts as well.
You have much to share, to encourage them in for you have my Word in you and a testimony, you have much to inspire them with, to strengthen them with… because you “get” them… and most importantly… I “got” you…
Hi. I have this friend of mine who helped me back again into Christ. I didn’t know that I would love her. Now we’re avoiding each other and she’s not replying to the messages I send her. It hurts to think that a fellow Christian will just abandon you when you’re there. Any…
Remember those songs that said: “Love means you never have to say you’re sorry”…”for sorry seems to be the hardest word”. “I’m sorry, so sorry.” and I’m sure there are others… but for me, Love is the avenue to which humility transports us to honesty, where we can say “I’m sorry”, because “I love you” and “appreciate you” that in spite of our differences, our views, our opinions and such.. “I love you so much that I am willing to humble out and say “forgive me”, “I’m sorry”, because if I choose to present and represent Christ to the world, I choose to “love and forgive and share grace”, because “they will know we are Christians by our LOVE”. Not just any LOVE, but God’s LOVE.
To have the faith and courage to say, “I forgive you,” for our Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” LISTEN: Confusion is not an excuse to hurt or retaliate , confusion is a state where we are not thinking right. So who am I to judge you, when I should be praying for you.
And in praying, my hope is that instead of holding onto that confusion that keeps you from thinking right, you would choose to release it to God, by faith, so that you can have the mind of Christ to think rightly according to His word and the truth of His word… where it says, reminds us that: LOVE is patient and kind, never proud or rude, or demands its own way. LOVE never remembers when it’s been wronged. That’s the kind of LOVE my Lord, that I choose… the kind of LOVE that comes from You and You alone.
Grace is given because of the victory that Christ won for us at the Cross. Yet many, in the Body of Christ, have not been given the truth as God defines and reveals it by His Holy Spirit. We keep fighting a battle that has already been won. We keep fighting the devil when he has already been defeated. We need to- in the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority and anointing that is our through Christ we need to be establishing that victory in our lives that all may see the victory fulfilled in us and through us to the glory of our God.
Romans 16:20 declares: And the God of peace will shortly crush Satan under your feet. LISTEN: Who’s feet? Our feet! Amen!!! and it continues with: the GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. His GRACE is more than sufficient for us.
Remember when Jesus said to His disciples: O ye, of little faith. Where is our faith that we have been saved by grace, live by grace, move by grace, are victorious because of grace, are provided for by grace….
We have the inheritance of our Lord’s grace…. so what are we doing with the inheritance of Grace that He has given unto us?
Come on Body of Christ, the Bride of Yeshua, all for One and One for all. Why? Because we are the extension and expression of His grace, the inheritance that is ours because He is our GRACE. We need to embrace it, live it, and share it… we need to be a witness of HIS GRACE!!!
There is a song that I love so dear, and it always reminds me, encourages me, keeps me, inspires me, and most importantly, focuses me on HE WHO IS MY ALL AND ALL, MY EVERYTHING.
"Set Your eyes upon Jesus, look into His wonderful face, and the world around will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace."
Only JESUS can bring the peace that guards our hearts and our minds. Only JESUS can capture every tear that falls and puts them away. Only JESUS can love us so unconditionally no matter how far we have fallen, or have gone away from Him. Only JESUS can take away the hurt and the pain and replace it with His precious, healing, restoring, soothing LOVE. Only JESUS can be and become our Everything, if we just let Him.
LET: to allow permission, to give the okay, to surrender
Father, I just want to take a moment to stay I trust You, that no matter what I have to face, what I have chosen to endure, I trust You…for You have always known what is best, and I trust You.. .although there was a time when I would have wanted the cup to pass, but it is never about my will but Yours, for You know the plans and this was the ultimate Plan, not to cause harm or destruction, but to bring a future and a HOPE. Your HOPE… from You. I trust you Abba, and my life I lay in Your hands for the glory that is Yours… that glory we share forever,
To my Commander and Chief, Yeshua Messiah. For He is the Commander of the Glorious Army of God Almighty and we are the warriors in His army. Rise up and fight the good fight, for He is our Victory, the Victory that was won at the Cross… let us establish that victory in our lives and in the lives of others for the glory of God and the advancement of His eternal kingdom.
I had a conversation once, and was told how important religion was to our lives, to our eternity. And yet, in my heart, in the depths of my soul, I knew that it was more than religion that would keep me, it was and continues to be my relationship with my God, my Lord and the Holy Spirit.
Though there are times when I feel like my relationship is not where I think it should be or where I believe the Lord wants it to be, I know that without my relationship with my Lord and my God, I would not be able to survive hardship, betrayals, abandonment, unforgiveness and much more. I would not be able to love the way my Lord loves me, or to give thanks when I’m surely not feeling thankful.
In my relationship with my Abba I can be real, I can be transparent, I can be me. When I need to be His daughter, for a moment, laying in His arms, sharing my heart… He lets me. I don’t have to be 100% superwoman for Him, I can be … me… the daughter He loves, the child He holds, the woman He knows that I am.
For me, religion can become like a dictatorship or it can be legalistic or worse yet, it can evolve into a cult without anyone recognizing it. The Pharisees had the kind of religion that controlled and manipulated to their advantage. It was their way or else. It’s true… read God’s word. Various religions can be and become self-centered, self-righteous and self-fulfilling.
A relationship with our Lord and God is God-centered, righteous, and divinely and eternally fulfilling.
Now, I’m not here to tell people how they should believe, but what I want to encourage you in is to go beyond the religion, and get into a relationship with your Abba Father, your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus revealed His relationship with His Father… it’s there, in His word… He revealed by His example and by His conversations with Him. When we have a relationship we share, we laugh, we cry, we listen, we love, we live… you can’t do that with religion.
How do you have relationship with God? Get into His word, read about Him, get to know Him as your Abba, your Lord, your God. Get to know Yeshua, Jesus, (the Four Gospels) and the Holy Spirit (Acts). Have prayer time, conversation time, me and You (Lord) time… you see, relationships take time and action. We take part in our relationships here in our lives with family and friends, why is it any different when it comes to our Lord?
We need to take time with our Lord, how else will be build, develop and mature in our relationship with Him.
You know that saying “It’s a religion”…well actually, “It’s a relationship.” It is all about the relationship. It always has and always will be about the relationship. You can read about religion for as long as you like, but a relationship is meant to be lived.
The day you shared your heart, the secret you were holding back…I cried, I died, I fried…. into temporary oblivion. I kept crying out: Not that Lord, not that one… NO… I’m not going to accept it, I won’t, I can’t, it hurts and yet, I knew it, but I didn’t want to say it out loud, for fear of confirming one of my worst fears… why, Lord, why?
I tried to train up my children in the way that they should go… I pushed in prayer, intercession and spiritual warfare. I professed, declared, prophesied, established, pressed toward the mark, fought the good fight, and ran the race, reaching for fulfillment of the promises that You gave me.
Oh man, Lord!!! Ugh!!! Why???? There I was, on the floor, travailing in cries, that were so deep and so hard I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t speak, I thought I was literally going to die.
Yet, after the crying, the travailing, experiencing the deepest pains rendered and thoughts of failure as a parent, You came Lord, and gathered me into Your arms, held me tight and said “It would be alright.”
You told me that You knew my heart, heard my prayers, and promised me… You promised me… that if I would “seek first the kingdom of God and its righteousness, that all things would be added unto me.”
If I took care of the Body of Christ, You would take care of my spouse, my children, my parents, everyone in my life… and I know that You will Lord, and that You are…for Your word does not come back void, but fulfills and accomplishes what you send it out to do. (Isaiah 55:11)
But it hurt so bad Lord, so bad… and yet like every ouch, Daddy comes, and puts medicine on it, LOVE, and then He covers it with a band-aid, MORE LOVE, and allows it to heal and become whole again… because of His LOVE
If it were not for Your LOVE, I would never be able to LOVE and not just LOVE, but LOVE the way Your LOVE… And I LOVE my family, the one You gave me, in spite of our own quirks… because it is: All for ONE and ONE for all~because of YOUR LOVE~
In the movie “Avatar” – you hear the phrase “I see you”. At first, it reminds you of that game you play with little babies called “Peekaboo… I see you”. But then you realize its deeper meaning of “I see you”.
Three words, simple or complex, depending on how you look at it, but just as profound and powerful as “I love you”… simple, complex but inspiring and revealing.
Now when people in your circle of life, or people you meet here or there come across your path, who do they really see, when they see you?
Now mind you, seeing can have one of two definitions: 1) to see you visually 2) to see your heart
Visually, it can be easy to disguise or hide one’s heart from view, but to see within the heart, calls for the courage of being transparent. A call of God, not many are able to live, or for that matter, share.
Do the many in your life see the disciple of Christ in you? Do they see the soldier in Christ’s Army prepared and ready for battle? Do they see the son or daughter of God Most High, Abba Father Himself? Do they see the servant of the One who taught and continues to reveal the meaning of serving with unconditional love? Whom do they see?
How about when you are having a rough day…physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually? Do they see the Christ in you? Or when you falter in your behavior, attitude or mannerisms… are you quick to say “sorry Lord”… dust yourself off and move on from there? Or do you sit and complain revealing the flesh of man not the spirit of Christ in you?
We present and represent Christ to the many in our lives on “good days”… but we should also present and represent Him on our “not so good days”. If those in our lives don’t see the realness of Jesus in our lives every day… then how can we be Christlike? How can we say we are His disciples?
Romans 12:2 says “But be ye “transformed” by the renewing of your minds…LISTEN, being transformed is a daily opportunity to become more Christlike in our behavior, attitude, character, in how we relate to others, how we relate to our Lord and God. It is a daily opportunity to be a testimony of Jesus in our lives not just on our “good days”, but also on our “not so good days.”
Jesus said that we would encounter trials and tribulations, but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world. What does that mean? Yes, we will have “not so good days”, but rejoice, for I have overcome, and if I AM IN YOU, then you are an OVERCOMER.
Are you willing to be transparent in your relationship with your Lord and God? Are you willing to allow your heart to be open for the many to see? Are you willing to be transformed and transparent in your Christlike development and maturing? Are you willing to present and represent Christ in His glory for His honor so that all may see?
I pray that when we meet, I shall not only see our Christ Jesus in you, but that you will see Him in me…

Consume me, baptize me, resurrect me
Rend open my heart and my life
To surrender, to embrace
